Visiting Portland

By Air…

Flights to Portland come through Portland International Airport (PDX). PDX is about 12 miles from the wedding venues, which can be accessed by taking one train (Trimet MAX Red Line).

Rental cars and rideshare are also available at PDX.

Alaska Airlines operates the most flights in and out of PDX, followed by Southwest Airlines, but all major domestic airlines have regular flights as well.

Trains to Portland come through Portland Union Station (PDX). Union Station is about 1 mile from the wedding venues, which can be accessed by about 20 minutes on sidewalks, by taking combining 2 bus or train lines, or by combining 1 transit line with sidewalk use.

Rideshare is also available at PDX.

Amtrak’s Cascades, Coast Starlight, and Empire Builder routes all stop at Union Station.

By Train…

Please do your own research for housing, but we think these might be good starting places.

For AirBnB and similar sites, looking in the Downtown, Pearl District, Nob Hill, and Goose Hollow neighborhoods is likely to get you closest to the wedding venues.

5-star hotels within easy sidewalk use of the wedding venues (10 minutes, or less) include:
- The Ritz-Carlton, Portland
- The Nines Hotel

4-star hotels within easy sidewalk use of the wedding venues (10 minutes, or less) include:
- Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland
- Sentinel Hotel
- Hotel de Luxe
- Woodlark Hotel
- Dossier Hotel
- Heathman Hotel
- The Paramount Hotel

- The Duniway

3-star hotels within easy sidewalk use of the wedding venues (10 minutes, or less) include:
- Mark Spencer Hotel
- McMenamins Crystal Hotel
- The Clyde Hotel
- Hilton Portland Downtown

We do not recommend staying in 2-star hotels in Downtown Portland. For a cheaper option than those presented above, please consider the very lovely Northwest Portland Hostel, which is about 15 minutes of sidewalk use to the wedding venues.
